Booking Process & Terms and Conditions
Bookings can be made either by phone, email or letter.
Once a booking has been agreed, correspondence confirming dates, prices and payment requirements will be sent to you.
Rental price includes: Electricity, heating and water, WiFi, bed linen & towels, hand towels in bathrooms, tea towels as well as travel cot, high chair, toilet frame, toilet riser seat and shower stool by arrangement.
30% deposit is required within 10 days to secure a booking
70% balance is payable 8 weeks prior to commencement of the period booked
Payment terms for bookings on a shorter notice will be individually agreed.
Payments can be made by bank transfer or cheque. Relevant details will be sent to you depending on your preferred method of payment. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept card payments.
If we do not receive either the deposit or the balance of payment within the specified time we reserve the right to re-let the property, and in the case of the balance payment to retain the deposit. We will however do what we can to contact you before taking any measures to re-let.
Should you have to cancel your booking, please give us the maximum notice possible.
The following cancellation policy applies:
More than 8 weeks notice – Cancellation charge for 30% of the total cost
Less than 8 weeks notice – Cancellation charge for 50% of the total cost
We will always endeavour to re-let the cottage and, if successful, will return any monies paid minus £10 administration charge.
If for any reason beyond our control the cottage is not available on the dates booked, all monies paid in advance will be refunded in full.
The Cottage will be available from 4 pm on the day of arrival and needs to be vacated by 10 am on the day of departure. If there are no immediate bookings before or after your stay, we are more than happy to accommodate any timings that you might prefer.
